Welcome to Season Two of The Harmony Perspective!

In this episode, we discuss our next battleground, Media, in its many forms. Social media is the most obvious target for a discussion on this topic, but entertainment media and technology in general must be addressed as well. Much like we must defend ourselves from physical threats and dangers, we also must take up our sword and shield against the perils of media for ourselves and our families.

Living religiously to emulate Jesus and love others as He commanded us to should be the natural byproduct of our faith in Him. However, our works alone do not lead to salvation, and our opinions and preferences related to secondary and tertiary doctrines that divide us lead us astray from the Great Commission.

Welcome to Season Two of The Harmony Perspective!

In this episode, we discuss the first battleground, Gender Identity. The Bible tells us that we are created by the God of the universe in His image as men and women. Any deviation from God's design in pursuit of selfish pleasure is sinful. As with any other sin, redemption is only found with a saving faith in Jesus. Followers of Jesus are called to lovingly make Jesus and the truth of the Bible known to the world by sharing their life with others.

Ben was the host of The Harmony Perspective in Season One while serving as an Associate Pastor at Harmony Baptist Church. Ben is now the Lead Pastor at City Hope Church in Rock Hill, SC, a church planted by Harmony Baptist in 2022 that officially launched in early 2023. Anthony is a leader at Harmony Baptist who is following a journey similar to Ben's, pursuing his calling into ministry.
