Another week, another episode!! This week we're getting in to what to do when someone doesn't respect our boundaries. We discussed setting boundaries and why they're important in a previous episode, so today we'll get in to how we can help others respect our boundaries.......we even need to learn how to respect our own!!! 

Why is it that the people in our lives don't respect our boundaries? 

But we can stand up for ourselves.....it's just a matter of us believing within ourselves that we can do it. BECAUSE WE CAN!!!! We're back with another episode of The Harvest Podcast and I'm discussing understanding our insecurities. I still struggle with a lot of insecurities and I'm constantly reminding myself that I AM WORTHY!!! That's where a lot of it stemmed from for me. Not feeling worthy enough, and I allowed the perception that others had about me shape who or what I THOUGHT I was supposed to be. 

Just as the title of this episode asks, how do you view yourself? What do you see when you look in the mirror? WHO do you see? What do you say to yourself when you don't feel your best? I've had to ask myself these question, even now I ask these questions when I have days that are just.....meh.

How do we learn to understand our insecurities? We'll get into that in today's episode!! Thank you for choosing to plant seeds in your healing garden.

Hey Harvesters!!! 

We’re back with another episode as we explore self love and what that journey means to us!! My own self love journey has changed so much and I'm still exploring and understanding what it means and looks like for me. It changes daily, and that's ok, because it allows me to understand the changes within and around me. I'm learning how to properly love myself so that I can have healthy loving relationships with myself and with whom I plan to build with. Whatever that relationship looks like for me. 

This is such a special episode because I’ll be having an intimate conversation with my spiritual sister Dr. Chastity Lasley!! 

Chastity Lasley (aka Dr. Chas) has worked with women in healing trauma. She realized in her personal journey that the trauma she experienced as a teen and young woman inspired her to seek healing from anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She is a certified Kemetic Teacher and Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor for Teens. 

Dr. Chas has been initiated into Kemetic Reiki Level 1, Sacred Woman Rites of Passage, and her current developing work as a Tantrika where she was initiated as a Tantra Goddess claiming her sexual sovereignty and clearing her own past trauma. She has spent the last five (5) years cultivating her feminine energy through tantra yoga, tantra dance, meditation, and breathwork as tools for sacred medicine through her own healing practices.

Welcome back Harvesters!! We’re revisiting self love this week and getting into how you can love yourself more while on this healing journey. My self love journey so far has been filled with me exploring what I like and don't like about myself, what I want and don't want from others, how I want to be treated, and recognizing my self worth. There are days where I feel that I have no clue what I'm doing, then there are days where I feel like I'm getting everything right. But I realized that for so long that I didn't love myself and didn't recognize my self worth, which was very evident in the relationships that I had with others.  My hopes with this episode are that you are able to recognize your own worth and are able to stand firm in the love you develop for yourself over time. Be able to speak up for yourself and ask the Universe to show you how to love yourself more and recognize the power you hold within you, because it's A LOT! You owe it to yourself to become everything you've ever dreamed of.  

Affirm:  I know myself. I honor my boundaries. I radiate confidence. My best is enough.

Hey Harvesters!! Welcome back to another episode where we're continuing to plant seeds for healing and growing.  November 2021 I broke my fibula and that jumpstarted a whole to level of healing for me. And I mean that in every way possible. The recovery process from surgery was a ride like no other, but in hindsight it allowed me to see that there were still areas in my life that still needed some changing. It also opened my eyes to things that I also knew needed to be changed but I was too comfortable to let the change happen. *TRIGGER WARNING* There is brief discussion on suicidal thoughts that I had during my recovery period.  I hope that you enjoy this episode and know that even when you think there isn't a light at the end of the tunnel, there is. Hey Harvesters!!! Welcome back to another episode of The Harvest Podcast. Welcome back Harvesters!! Thank you again for showing up for yourself and continue to plant seeds in your healing garden!! Episode 32 we get into how we can create a brave space for ourselves and the people we want to be in that space with us. It's taken me quite some time to figure out how to be a friend to others because I didn't have a lot of things figured out sometimes. As I continue to do the work, I've learned how to be a better human being not just towards others, but to myself as well. This has also helped with the grieving process when I lose someone I was once close with.
