Do we understand the importance of the "gathering of God's people together"? Do we understand the calling of God? Many are called, few are chosen. Are you a part of God's elite chosen? Let's heed the call and feed His sheep. If we love Him...feed His sheep. Let's rise up to Call of Jesus and be Fishers of Men.
"Submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee."
Our power to resist, is our willingness to submit to God first.
Listen to a live stream....message by Elder Raymond Whitley. Following the message...a prayer by Rev. Renna...background piano music by Brother Carl.
We all face setbacks in life and things we don't understand. When we go through loss and disappointments, it's easy to get discouraged and think, "That's the way it's always going to be".
But our God is a God of restoration. He doesn't stop every difficulty, he doesn't keep us from every challenge, but he did promise he would pay us back for the wrongs, he would restore what was stolen.
David said in Psalm 71:20-21, "You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to even greater honor". The suffering is a setup, God allowed the difficulty not to make you miserable, but to restore you to greater honor.
That no matter what is going on around you, God's got your back, God is for you, God's got a plan, and God's got a purpose for you.
Psalm 23:
The Lord is my shepherd, not he was, but he is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters, he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows, surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord, forever and ever.
When God breathed his life into you, he put a crown on your head.
The psalmist David called it a crown of glory and honor.
This crown represents your authority.
It represents God's blessing and favor on your life. It's a reminder that you're not average, not mediocre, but you are royalty.
When you're wearing your crown, you'll feel a sense of entitlement thinking, "I have a right to be blessed.
I have a right to live in victory. I have a right to overcome these challenges, not because I'm so great, so strong, so talented, but because I'm wearing a crown of honor put there by my creator".
Your perception of yourself will determine what kind of life you live. If you see yourself as being average, and you feel less than because of what somebody said, and you live guilty because of past mistakes, that's going to limit your potential. What's happening? You're not wearing your crown.
In the coming days people are going to come across your path that God has ordained.
They are divinely linked to your destiny.
They hold the key to promotion and increase. Don't overlook them. Go out this week and be good to the people that are in your life.
If you will learn to treat everyone like a gatekeeper to your destiny
God will open up the right doors. You will come into favor, promotion and increase.
I believe and declare you will become everything God has created you to be.
In this message my goal is to impart a desire to grow to a higher level of faith by making the appropriate faith declarations that are consistent with what we believe God has covenanted to us through the great New Covenant He has made with us.
Paul, the apostle is a great example of what a believer can accomplish when he has a powerful faith confession that results from what he believes.
2 Corinthians 4:13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak,
