One pair of hands formed the mountains
One pair of hands formed the sea
And one pair of hands made the sun and the moon,
Every bird, every flower, every tree
One pair of hands formed the valleys,The ocean, the rivers and the sand
Those hands are so strong,
so when life goes wrong,Put your faith in the one pair of hands.
One pair of hands, healed the sick,
One pair of hands raised the dead
One pair of hands calmed the ragging storm
And thousands of people were fed
One pair of hands said I love you
And those hands were nailed to a tree
Those hands are so strong,
so when life goes wrong, Put your faith into one pair of hands.
Use Me Lord…I am Ready!
God is always looking for faithful men and women that He can support and empower to accomplish His will and purposes on this earth
***Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Luke 10:2 He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
Our Lord wants workers, and He asks that we would pray for more workers to go out into the harvest
God’s method in building His kingdom is by using willing and obedient servants, people who avail themselves to God’s call upon their lives. For some, the call may be to foreign missions or to the ministry, but for most of us, we will be called to be ministers of the gospel even though our career paths might look much different.
Wherever we are and in whatever we do, God is looking for people whom He can support to build His kingdom.
He has missions for us to do, but the question is whether or not we will accept the call.
Text: John 15:5-7: 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.do nothing."
Jesus said,"WITHOUT ME - YOU CAN DO NOTHING!"
He is the source-
He is everything that we need.
Always remember…You are totally linked to Christ in what He has won. Eph. 4:7-10 describe the moment in objective history when your spiritual freedom and transformation was accomplished. It’s a done deal.
”Do you believe?” The fight against sin is called the fight of faith. You win by trusting that Jesus has already beaten your worst enemy!
Isaiah 60:1-3 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
"Remember your dream". All of us have things that we're believing for, something that we want to accomplish. Part of our destiny.
We can feel it so strongly but then we hit some setbacks. We didn't get the promotion, the medical report wasn't good, or a relationship didn't work out.
Life has a way of pushing our dreams down. They can become buried under discouragement, buried under past mistakes.
There are dreams buried under divorce, broken relationships, buried under the loss of a loved one, buried under financial difficulties, or loss of a job, buried under low self-esteem, and disappointments.
it's easy to settle for mediocrity even though we have all this potential buried on the inside.
But just because you gave up doesn't mean God gave up.
The good news is it's still alive.
Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house,
not a creature was praying, not one in the house.
Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care,
in hopes that Jesus, would not come there.
The children were dressing, to crawl in to bed,
not once ever kneeling or bowing a head;
And mom in her rocker with the baby on her lap,
was watching the late show while I took a nap.
When out of the east there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but Angels proclaiming that Jesus was here!
With the light like the sun sending forth a bright ray,
I knew in a moment, this must be THE DAY.
The light of his face made me cover my head;
It was Jesus returning, just like He said.
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
I cried when I saw him, in spite of myself.
In the Book Of Life which He held in His hand,
was written the name of every saved man,
He spoke not a word as He searched for my name,
when He said, 'It's not here.' my head hung in shame.
The people whose names had been written with love,
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready, He rose without sound,
while all the rest, were left standing round.
I fell to my knees but it was too late,
I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
I stood and I cried as they rose out of site;
Oh if only we, had been ready tonight.
In the words of this poem the meaning is clear,
the coming of Jesus is drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call,
we'll find that the Bible, was true after all.(Author Unknown)
