A message about How our Past and Present effects our Future.
Happy moments: Praise God.
Difficult moments: Seek God.
Quiet moments: Worship God.
Difficult moments: Trust God.
Every moment: Thank God.Many people don't realize how God speaks to them.
They think it's going to be this big, dramatic voice; but one way God speaks is through impressions.
We all have things happen to us in life that we don't understand, things that are taken longer than they should, doors that have closed.
We did the right thing, but we didn't get the promotion, or people that have turned on us, a co-worker said untrue things and now it's set us back. It's easy to live frustrated and and fight against everything we don't like.
"God, why is this happening? When are you going to turn it around"?
We think that it's holding us back, but Psalm 119 says, "Everything serves his plan".
Pray Until Something Happens! God keeps His Promises! Trust in the Lord with all of your heart...He will never leave you nor forsake you.
"I have heard thy prayers, I have seen thy tears....I will rescue you saith the Lord".

Help is on the way!
"Upon the cross....the greatest love of all!"
It is not the receiving of a reward just because you ‘hung-in-there’ through your Christian life and just made it to heaven and receive the ‘crown of life’ by the skin of your teeth!
Just being a Christian is not the total sum of obtaining the high calling.
It is not being an Archbishop or an Elder or a Pastor!
It is a calling from God to come up higher into the realm of 100% spirit and be conformed to the image of God’s son and thus be fashioned for the special task (calling) and there are several ‘steps’ that will bring an apprehended one to that calling.
THE VERSE - Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Today I want to talk for a little while about what we just read in John 9: to do with this blind man that Jesus gave sight, so I want you to pay close attention.
This man's life was changed so dramatically that to him every avenue of his life had a different meaning.
This dear man got up that morning unaware that his world was about to change because he was about to meet Jesus the Christ, the True Healer.
And in much the same way for spiritual blind people, Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:3--Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. A lost sinner just can’t see it.
Choose to have a holy attitude. Bear the fruits of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mark 8:31-38
31 He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.
32 He spoke plainly about this, and Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.
33 But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. “Get behind me, Satan!” he said. “You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.
35 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.
36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
Isaiah 64:8
But now, O Lord, You are our Father,
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all of us are the work of Your hand.
