A befuddling loss at UCLA was frustrating to say the least and who will be available against Maryland in two weeks is anybody's guess. Fortunately, the winter sports are underway and all is well so far in wrestling and basketball.

Iowa's quarterback situation is suddenly very clear...but a little scary. The defense came to play against NW and they'll need to be just as good against Wisconsin. Basketball has tipped off and the other major fall sports are winding down.

A tough loss at Michigan State has the boys down but not out with a lot of season left to go. It's also time for hoops to begin and wrestling is on the horizon as well.

A resounding victory over Washington was fun....but how much help will it be in moving into discussions for the College Football Playoff? And will the momentum carry over to the trip to Michigan State this weekend.
