It's not a fun subject, but the boys can't help but discuss Iowa's flop in the Citrus Bowl. But they keep one eye on the future and update the winter sports as they head into 2024.

It’s Citrus Bowl week and there’s plenty of football talk left to go around as the boys wrap up the season.

A light week in terms of competition doesn't mean there isn't a lot to talk about. The offensive coordinator position is still open and players still have decisions to make in football. The hoops teams both won easily and Caitlyn Clark continues her track to her place on Iowa's Mount Rushmore of athletes. Plus the boys have a little using the extra time to jump a bit off topic and have some fun.

A rough week for the men's hoops team isn't the end of the world. The women's team keeps finding ways to win. And the football All-American teams are out with Iowa being well-represented.

The Big Ten Championship may have ended as expected but there were plenty of surprises along the way to discuss. Now its time to turn toward Citrus Bowl prep and discuss coaching hires, players in the portal, and what it all means for the future.

So much to cram into an hour long show. The boys do their best to touch on all of it while paying fair attention to football as the regular season is now in the past and Michigan awaits in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Pre-empted by Drake Basketball on the Radio, the boys put together a technology challenged but packed podcast to discuss Iowa's Big Ten West Championship and all other things in the Hawkeye sports world.

So much happening in so many sports! A packed show with football, basketball, women's basketball, soccer, field hockey, and women's wrestling all part of the discussion.

A show that could have used two hours with the football win over Northwestern and the Wrigley experience, both hoops teams kicking off the season, field hockey into the NCAAs and a Big Ten Championship for the Soccer team.

A bye week for football certainly isn't boring as news on the Iowa Coaching Staff takes center stage. It's time for hoops to crank up. And the other fall sports begin to wrap up with their conference tournaments.
