Gear is a tricky one. If you don't want to hear about it than its hard to change your mind. This is just my perspective on how gear helps or hinders our creativity and what that can mean for where we're at on our journeys.
Practice makes perfect, but done is better. The season's changing, the world is changing and things are changing for me too. Within those changes I was able to learn a valuable lesson and this episode is all about sharing that lesson with you.
I keep this old fortune cookie paper in my phone case that reads: "Success won't taste so good without Failure as appetizers." We have all heard similar things before, I'm sure. But maybe now is the time you need to hear it again. I know it worked for me and I'm excited to fail and learn all over again!

What better way to learn than from my mistakes? Don't get caught up in developing your creative ideas. Take that right out of your process and start making something. Before you know it, you'll be learning from your own mistakes!

It's always bothered me. This idea that the more one does, the more successful one is. It seems strange that I could be physically and mentally exhausted but as long as I got out there and gave it my all, I can consider that a success. This line of thinking leaves no room for self care, reflection or the ability to pivot creative strategies. I touch on the surface here and we may go deeper at a later date. If that's something you'd like to hear, please let me know.
