You do not need a quiet room to meditate. The traffic, the neighbor's dog, the hum of the fridge: sound is not the enemy of your practice, it can be one of your best anchors. In this episode we talk about why noise feels like such a problem, the half-second chasing reflex that turns every sound into a story, a different way to meet sound by receiving instead of chasing, and the quiet hiding underneath all the noise. Then we practice together for seven minutes, the same as last time. The growth this week goes into your homework instead: ten minutes a day, plus a one-minute listening assignment. Hosted by Alden Isaac.
