How are you doing today? Welcome to Episode 11! This is a transitional episode where we will be leaving our old series and entering into a new series. WoopWoop! Recently I just got done reading Will Smith's Book: Will and it is a game changer! We discuss some the situations he shared with us. Today's episode we five deep into beyond the self-care. Everyone is a expert. Social Media has given us credentials, degrees and titles we never asked for! Which in turn allows everyone the have the answers and know everything. 

Today we did not pick a card, but we read an affirmation from the daily affirmations sent by Black Female Therapists. Go ahead and go to their website and enroll to get your daily affirmation.

"This week I will honor my growth by releasing anything that is keeping me stuck. Though I may find comfort in familiar things, I will choose growth over complacency. I am committed to having new experiences that are eye openin, elevating, and encouraging. Today and every day, I am my priority. I am a work in progress."

Today's take aways:

1.) We have to apply everything we learn in our self-care and therapy. We can not self-care or therapy our way out of life.

2.) Traveling is a way that we can practice self-care because it gives us the moment to sit down. Some of us just need to sit down.

I am back and feeling better! I hope you all enjoyed the episode from last week because after recording that I was in the bed for the rest of the day!

How are you feeling today? It's the second week of 2022! How are you truly feeling? How can you embrace that?

"What is one thing I want most out of life? What is one small step I can take today to get there?"

LeLe's Answers:

I want to heal and I want love! I am a hopeless romantic, but I believe healing and love go hand in hand. I am not saying I am nothing without love, but I feel that I've had everything except love. My love life has sucked. lol. One thing I can do today is live by my quote "love you the way you love the world" and recommit myself to my healing. 

Healing while traveling:

I discuss my first solo trip. It helped me:

1.) Invest invest in myself

2.) Put respect on my name

3.) Get myself together

But we do have to say Rest In Peace Betty White! She ran a good race and we're so sad to her go on to glory! We are sending her family and loved ones so much love and healing!

While gathering this episode together I had a moment where I had to stop and breathe. I had to remind myself of my "WHY." What am I doing all this for? I had to remind myself of who I am. 

Most people do not realize that "SheGotFaith" is a person. SheGotFaith is me. When I created HealingSheGotFaith my motive was to personally invite to join me on this healing journey.

Life has been hard. Transitions, heartbreaks, anxiety attacks, depression and fear have all attacked me this year and in the most recent days it has been even more difficult. However, while coming in and recording today's episode; I had a realization and I had to remind myself of who I am!

How are you feeling today? That is the question!  

Today we will be discussing how to embrace your story!  First we have to send love and prayers to Nick Cannon and his son's mother for the loss of their baby, Zen Cannon and also, sending prayer and love to all the people who are hurting right now due to a loss of a baby or family member.
