Sherry Damron survived abuse and now tells the story of how she has come from being abused to a life of peace and grace.
Sherry was molested as a child and because of the shame and trauma associated with molestation, Sherry states: āOnce a child is ever molested, their view is forever tainted of what real relationship is all about
Sherry dated only one boy in school and one week after graduation they were married. Her dreams were to be a wife and mother and have a home filled with love but her dreams were crushed. She saw warning signs of abuse before marrying, many tried to warn her, but she thought he was her only option and she ignored the warnings.
After years of abuse verbal physical and sexual she had the strength to leave.
Sherry has no animosity toward anyone in her past, she is too busy looking forward. She is healed inside and out and now has a peace that passes all understanding. Only the Grace of God could do that.
Sherry knows she Was Cast Down, But Not Conquered; Pressed On Every Side, Yet Not Crushed; Perplexed, But Not in Despair; Persecuted, But Not Forsaken; Struck Down, But Not Destroyed
what she wants every woman to know is Itās not over. You can be put back together again.
Her most recent book is called āUndone.ā
