Dr Chaya Lieba is a clinical psychologist & the mother of 5 living children. Chaya currently lives in Israel with her husband & their children. I loved hearing about some unique cultural practices from her and hearing that they have a “Motherbaby” house in her community where new mothers can go with their babies to be cared for. 

Chaya, shares her experiences and challenges throughout her pregnancies and childbirths, including unexpected C-sections & struggles with the medical system. She shares about being poorly treated by medical providers and the impact that birth trauma has had on her. Chaya also discusses her personal journey towards motherhood, how she engaged with her fertility & getting pregnant with an IUD.

✨Helen shares a deeply personal story about her spiritual and scientific upbringing, and how that has shaped her life journey. She discusses her struggles with reconciling different worldviews, her journey of self-discovery, and her career challenges as a single mother and PhD student. 

✨ Helen offers her stories of reconnecting with her feminine self and finding her calling to work with dying individuals. She reminds us of the importance of following one's truth

✨ We discuss Helen’s professional experience in helping individuals find closure and heal from their losses, as well as the importance of contemplating mortality. The conversation ended with a conversation on our respective approaches to supporting individuals through grief, end of life experiences, and the integration of personal practices into our professional work.
