As first generation Christian fathers we will in no doubt have battles to face. Because the walk of christianity is new there will be a lot of things that we learned growing up, a lot of battles our parents couldn't have fought because simply. they knew not the battle they were in.

I was feeling discouraged and at the end of the day I just wanted tto get a Lego set and build. Why? Often times, I wish my faith my life was like a lego set. Do X,Y and Z and this will be the outcome, how I wish things worked like that, but God has better and bigger things in mind then simple to-do list.

There is so much confusion in America on the idea of masculinity and if the America is confused you better believe that our children can get caught up in that confusion.

As Dads and leaders of our family we have to be the ones to model masculinity and bestow masculinity to our sons.

This episode I'm sharing some thoughts of how I had to receive masculinity from other men and how I am trying to model that in our home

Lately I've found myself saying to my kids "I can't", or "I've got to do..." so busy that I can't do that one thing that i should not be to busy to do and that is hang out with my kids. Getting caught in the busyness of the day can happen to any of us and just want to share in my journey in hopes that it helps you in yours.

One of the most challenging things we can do is pray and not just pray over our family but pray out loud and with out family. In this episode I share a praise report on prayer and how it is changing and shaping my family.
