WWE Backlash was okay.  Two matches stood out.  The rest could have been perfect for Raw or Smackdown as main events.

Meanwhile, all the scheming, plotting, and self-sacrifice "Most Marketable" Richard Holliday put himself through to get a shot at the MLW Heavyweight Championship was all for naught.  

Plus, one NJPW star is openly criticizing his company, and a former WWE Superstar is finally getting her comeuppance.

After a down week off for me, I came back to talk about someone who should have been in prison long ago.

Some interesting news: Freddie Prinze Jr. is trying to start his own promotion.  He is proposing some game-changing ideas.  We shall see.

It would be low-hanging fruit to talk about how Jade Cargill almost made Roderick Strong a widower, so, instead, I'll talk about a local indy that is killing it, Ohio Wrestling Alliance.  Enjoy the episode that almost never made it.

I don't know how else to say it.  I know I've said it before.  This time, until Tony Khan addresses the offensive display during the fifteenth straight AEW Texas Death Match on Good Friday, I'll never watch another match again.

I know TK is shaking in his pair of custom-made wrestling boots.  I'm sure he's not losing sleep over it.

It's just the principle of the thing.

"At this rate, he'll [publish his podcast by] Wrestlemania 38!"

Unlike Sheikie Baby, I finally got the rest of Wrestlemania covered.  Plus, some of you are going to drive Ronda Rousey back out of the WWE. 

Most importantly, one of life's lessons is, "Admit when you are wrong."  I did...and I'm glad.

I was wrong...and I'm glad.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.  Sometimes one must leave to experience life without the thing they love in order to become better able to receive it.

That's about as profound as I get.

Night 1 was a solid "B+".  I hope Night 2 will be just as good.

You know it's Wrestlemania Week when even The Oscars have a worked fight.

Of course Tony Khan can't get out of his own way by announcing a major signing Friday night around midnight in front of fans.  He also argued with the only talent worth a damn in his company.
