As Christians, we need to evaluate the cost and decide if we want be passionately committed to following God.  We need to decide whether, for this life on this earth, we want to follow Jesus.

As a church and individuals, we need to ask ourselves "where is our focus"?  Because maintaining our focus on Jesus is the key to maintaining our passion for our Lord.

We can be as passionate as we would like about our personal connection with Jesus, but when Jesus said “You Follow me” He wants to lead and guide us to be in mission for him.  The fruit of passion is mission.

It is clear form the bible that we are made to know God, live in community and are made for a purpose. We start a new sermon series "Passion and Purpose" by examining the call of the first disciples to follow Jesus no matter where he called them. What an adventure He calls us to.

"stop sinning or something worse may happen to you!" Andrew Reeves opens John 5:1-6 and looks at that strange pronouncement that Jesus made. We will discover that there is a 'fate worse than death' and that dying without Jesus' forgiveness.

Tony Edwards looks at Paul's passionate commitment to serving and living for Christ found in Philippians 3. Tony asks "what is our passion"

In the wake of the bombings in Egypt Coptic churches, Gavin looks at what the church looks like in Egypt and the reflections of an Egyptian Pastor post the attacks.

Sermon breaks once at the start, but continues without issue.

Gavin speaks about remembrance and how God wants for us to remember all that he has done.

God longs for His people to be faithful with absolute honesty, dedication and loyalty. But post Easter after the unfaithfulness of Judas and Peter we also find that repentance and trust in the forgiveness of Jesus will be part of our testimony.

In Philippians 3:14-21 Paul encourages the Philippians and us to keep going hard for Christ.
