THE HEIR CAST EP. 79 — MOTHER SUPERIA
Before Miami was “Miami”… it was The Bottom.
And the woman who coined that? Sitting right here.
On this episode of The Heir Cast, we tap in with legendary MC Mother Superia — a true pioneer of South Florida hip-hop — as she breaks down her journey, her impact, and the history they don’t teach you.
We dive into:
This episode isn’t just about music — it’s about legacy, truth, and the woman behind the mic: Savannah Jones aka Mother Superia.
If you care about hip-hop history, Miami culture, or just love a real conversation… this one is mandatory viewing.

EPISODE 78 — THE HEIR CAST 🎙️
This episode is straight from the source.
We sit down with Old Solomon — rapper, graffiti writer, and a true product of Miami’s Scarface era. This isn’t secondhand storytelling… this is someone who lived it.
We dive into his upbringing around real OG’s and break down what being an “OG” actually means — not the internet version, but the code, the respect, and the responsibility that comes with it.
Solomon is also here promoting his new album “New Nostalgia” — a project that blends past and present, giving you that authentic feeling with a modern perspective.
To close it out, we draft some of the best ways to express yourself — creatively, authentically, and without limits… because at the end of the day, that’s what this is all about.
Express yourself however you do it — music, art, business, life — and start by tapping into “New Nostalgia.”

Episode 76 of The Heir Cast is a culture-heavy masterclass with Orlando’s own Cydney Poitier — a proud representative of the Lo Life movement and a sharp mind both on and off the mic.
We dive straight into a layered conversation about what actually makes a film a “Black movie.” Is it the cast? The director? The cultural lens? Or the impact? From there, Cydney breaks down the origins of his rap journey — how he found his voice, what shaped his pen, and how the Lo Life philosophy influences his artistry and identity.
We also explore his new children’s book, When You Know You’re a Star, inspired by his song featuring Kirsten Warren — a powerful reminder of self-belief and purpose, aimed at the next generation. It’s not just a book; it’s a mindset.
The conversation levels up when we debate who should be the next James Bond and why representation in iconic roles matters more than ever. And of course, we give flowers where they’re due — breaking down the mastery, discipline, and cinematic dominance of Denzel Washington.
This episode blends hip-hop, film, legacy, fatherhood, and cultural ownership into one dynamic exchange. Insightful. Entertaining. Thought-provoking.

Episode 75 — The Heir Cast ft. Dr. Anna Lepeley
Episode 75 is one for the books as we welcome our first ever doctor-turned-comedian — the brilliant and wildly funny Dr. Anna Lepeley. Known as the merchandise mastermind behind Comedians in Drag, Anna pulls up to talk about her journey from practicing medicine to commanding stages, and the slow, intentional transition into the butch doctor she always knew she was meant to be.
We get into her hilarious (and surprisingly thoughtful) takes on drugs — including why she jokes they’re best left to the feline species — plus her biggest pet peeves when it comes to comedy crowds and what separates great audiences from the energy vampires. Anna also shares her favorite cities to visit while touring, stories from life on the road, and how she balances sharp wit with real-world perspective.
Of course, we couldn’t resist some chaos — we wrap things up with a draft of the greatest gays of all time that’s equal parts iconic, hilarious, and unexpectedly educational.
It’s smart, it’s unfiltered, and it’s a reminder that sometimes the most interesting paths are the ones you never planned.
We’re grateful you get to experience this one with us — tap in and enjoy.

Episode 74 of The Heir Cast sits down with Miami native Franky Faze, a true product of the city who’s lived every era of its evolution. From growing up while Miami transformed into the global powerhouse it is today, to navigating life in and out of prison, Franky shares an unfiltered story of survival, reinvention, and perspective.
We talk about his journey from humble beginnings as the popcorn guy to becoming a DJ, promoter, and connector—someone who now opens doors and bumps shoulders with some of the most powerful politicians and figures in the world. It’s a conversation about hustle, consequences, growth, and understanding how the city really works when you’ve seen it from every angle.
We also lighten things up with a draft of our favorite Miami-based movies and, because it wouldn’t be Miami without it, get into our favorite sandwiches. Franky is family—part of the THC crew—and it’s an honor to have someone who supports not just the show, but my dad as well, on the couch for this one.
Real Miami stories. Real growth. No filters.

Episode 73 – Growth, Grief, and the Grind (feat. Michael Garcia)
In this deeply personal episode of The Heir Cast, Heir sits down with Michael Garcia—a creative he genuinely looks up to and respects—for an honest conversation about evolution, discipline, and purpose. We unpack Michael’s rare ability to transition from music into visuals and filmmaking, his relentless commitment to health after completing the Miami Marathon (this episode was filmed just before the race), and what it really takes to keep grinding when motivation alone isn’t enough.
We take a deep dive into Michael’s directorial debut, Shakey Grounds—a raw, character-driven story about a band of misfits being managed by misfits of their own. The film lives in the messy middle of ambition and reality, exploring ego, loyalty, belief, and the chaos that comes with chasing a creative dream without a safety net. It’s a love letter to the independent grind and a reflection of what happens when passion outpaces resources—but not heart.
Do yourself a favor: go watch Shakey Grounds.
If you’ve ever tried to build something from nothing, this film will hit home.
Michael’s visual résumé also includes directing one of the most recognizable music videos of the last decade—Tunnel Vision by Kodak Black. We talk about the creative process behind the video, its cultural impact, and how storytelling, symbolism, and restraint turned it into a moment that still resonates today. It’s a masterclass in saying more with less—and proof of Michael’s eye for visuals that stick.
The episode takes an unexpected turn as we confront the current climate of chaos—getting uncomfortably real about school shootings and the death penalty. Emotions spill over, and in a moment no one planned for, Heir unexpectedly breaks down on mic.
We rewind to early, wild Crazy Hood stories, cast the hypothetical Crazy Hood biopic (who plays who?), and close things out with a filmmaker’s draft of essential movies every filmmaker should watch. Michael goes on an elite run of Titanic facts and somehow convinces the entire room—no debate—that rewatching Requiem for a Dream is mandatory viewing.
Real growth. Real emotion. Real craft.
This episode isn’t just a conversation—it’s a checkpoint.

Shottie returns to The Heir Cast for his third appearance ever. We do a deep dive into his latest album EVENT CENTER RACING inspired by the 80's Power boat racing phenomena, the Age of Disclosure, how music and burgers have been cheapened over time, and the ULTIMATE guide on how to smash your own burgers. This album was created in one of the most unique ways possible and I think that rewarded the creativity as this is my favorite Shottie project yet.

Episode 71 – Rising From the Fire with Gypsy Phoenix 🔥🕊️
On Episode 71 of The Heir Cast, we sit down with the lead singer of Gypsy Phoenix for a powerful conversation about identity, art, and rebirth. We break down what it truly means to be Gypsy—exploring authentic Romani culture beyond the stereotypes—and how that lineage shapes her worldview, music, and creative discipline.
Hailing from Brooklyn by way of Belgium and now rooted in beautiful Broward / Fort Lauderdale (we’ll let you decide which name hits harder), she opens up about her musical influences and the deeply communal, almost tribal effort it takes to bring Gypsy Phoenix to life—from visuals and storytelling to production and performance. This episode is about building art with intention, honoring your roots, and starting the year renewed—like a true phoenix rising.

EPISODE 70 — A NEW ERA BEGINS.
Episode 70 of The Heir Cast kicks off 2026 the only way we know how—unfiltered, uncomfortable, and unforgettable.
Miami and internet legend Steven Jo, a.k.a. The Chain Snatcher, sits down for his most honest conversation yet. For the first time, Steven opens up about his lifelong battle with drug addiction, the realities behind viral notoriety, and how survival—not clout—shaped the man behind the legend.
We dive deep into:
• The real art and psychology of chain snatching
• Raw stories from encounters with Gervonta Davis, Young Thug, Pusha T, and other major figures
• The launch and vision behind his new podcast Laugh Now Debate Later
• A no-holds-barred debate on reincarnation
• And yes… Sean Combs parties—myths, opinions, and uncomfortable truths
This episode shows a side of Steven rarely seen: self-aware, reflective, sharp, and vulnerable. Or as we know him—Mr. Caca… aka The Big Z—redefining himself in real time.
Stick around until the end for:
• Our Big 3 Draft of favorite Steves
• Steven shooting his shot—professionally and romantically
• And a reminder that redemption arcs are louder than rumors
This isn’t just Episode 70.
It’s a statement.
