當你自覺格格不入而被人取笑，你會用力反擊，還是默默忍受？印度裔香港棟篤笑藝人阿V (Vivek Mahbubani)，在2007年開始中、英文雙語棟篤笑之旅。現在的他，從容地引人發笑，但小時候幾乎每天被同輩嘲笑。在香港土生土長，說着流利廣東話，卻因為有着異國面容，自幼在「融入」二字間掙扎。面對憤怒、委屈，他怎樣將自己的「不同」轉為「力量」，悟出「喜劇 = 悲劇 + 時間」的幽默哲學？好不容易接受了自己，卻在24歲時確診淋巴癌；「人生，不是你想要便有」，這場疾病如何催化他踏上棟篤笑舞台？When you feel like you don’t belong and get laughed at, do you fight back or just endure it in silence? Vivek Mahbubani (a.k.a. Ah V), an Indian Hong Kong-born stand-up comedian, began his bilingual comedy journey in Chinese and English back in 2007. Today, he comfortably makes people laugh, but as a kid, he was laughed at by his peers almost every day. Born and raised in Hong Kong, speaking fluent Cantonese, he has struggled since childhood with "fitting in" because of his foreign appearance. Faced with anger and hurt, how did he turn his "difference" into strength and come to believe that "Comedy = Tragedy + Time"? Just when he finally accepted who he was, he was diagnosed with lymphoma at 24. "Life isn’t something you can just ask for", how did this illness actually become the catalyst for him to step onto the comedy stage?

家庭治療 (下)

在父母近乎缺席的成長中，能令孩子感到溫暖的，可能是晚上有人為自己蓋被子；令他們的世界在房燈關上後，不至於完全黑暗。這個「畫面」，驅使註冊家庭心理治療師李淑霞 Lucy Lee，十多年前從香港大學社工系畢業後，走進兒童院工作。要治療小朋友的心靈，不如先治療他的家庭 — 她後來負笈英國取得家庭治療師專業資格，卻在疫情時放棄當地難得的發展機會，毅然與丈夫和孩子回來，為的是回應初心，把家庭治療的不同面向，帶回香港。Lucy 相信，每個人尋求幫助都需要勇氣的，而勇氣會有耗盡的一天。她希望推動治療師認證體制，以支援求助者找到適合的治療師，並確保治療師的專業質素。

In a childhood marked by the absence of parents, a small act — someone tucking you in at night — can make the darkness feel less lonely.That image has stayed with Lucy Lee, a Registered Family and Systemic Psychotherapist, ever since she graduated from the University of Hong Kong and began working in children’s homes as a Social Worker. She came to believe that to heal a child’s heart, one must first heal their family.After earning her family therapy qualifications in the UK, Lucy gave up promising opportunities during the pandemic to return to Hong Kong with her husband and child — answering her calling to bring the spirit of family therapy home. 聾人或弱聽人士，可以選擇用手語，和世界溝通。然而，他們的內心世界，除了家人和朋友，還有誰懂得聆聽？在香港，能用手語溝通的輔導心理學家，現時只有一位。劉紫蕾 Kloris，本是一個唸中文系的女生。從小喜歡手語，結識了一群聾人朋友，發現他們成長不易；加上自己走過情緒低谷，令她更關心聾人的心理支援。因緣際遇，她開始結合這些點滴，用七年時間，修讀三個碩士學位，成為香港的「第一」和 「唯一」。這個身份，她深信只是一個開始。Kloris 希望啟發大眾關注聾人或弱聽人士的心理健康；也希望將來有更多以手語為母語的人士，投身成為治療師或心理學家，用自己的語言，進入另一個聾人的世界。Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people can use sign language to connect with the world – but who truly listens to their inner voice apart from their family and friends?In Hong Kong, there is only one Counselling Psychologist who can communicate directly in sign language.Kloris Lau didn’t start in Psychology – she studied Chinese Language & Literature, loved sign language from a young age, and became close to many Deaf friends. Seeing their struggles and going through her own emotional lows, she was inspired to offer better mental health support for the Deaf. Over seven years, she completed three master’s degrees and became Hong Kong’s first and only sign-language Counselling Psychologist.To Kloris, this is just the beginning. 提起「社工」，很自然聯想起「幫人」。社工是怎樣幫人的？社工只幫情況嚴重的人嗎？

註冊社工黃曉楓 Wendy，過去二十年來，曾服務中度及嚴重 #智障人士 及其家庭、長者、#危機熱線 求助者、具有 #特殊教育需要 的幼兒及家長。她認為，助人的重點，從來不在於對方的情況有多困難，而是對方有多願意表達自己的情緒和處境，從而讓社工安排合適的支援。

Wendy一直與不同社群同行，因為她深信，不同群體的故事和需要，不靠近是看不到的。在助人與互動的過程裡，她感受到，服務對象如何也在與她同行；完成client離世前的心願，如何令其家人感到被陪伴；在幫不上忙時，如何學習尊重client的選擇。與人同行，令Wendy的社工工作充滿新鮮感，也令她感受到被人信任的福氣。

When we think of “social workers,” we naturally think of “helping people.” But what does that help actually look like? And is social work only for people in serious crisis?

Registered Social Worker Wendy Wong has spent the past 20 years supporting a wide range of individuals—people with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and their families, elderly clients, crisis hotline callers, and young children with special educational needs (SEN) and their parents.

To her, the heart of helping is not about how difficult someone’s situation is, but whether they are willing to express what they’re going through. That’s when a social worker can step in with the right support.

Wendy walks closely with different communities because she believes that without getting close, you can't truly see people’s needs or stories. Along the way, she’s learned how those she supports also walk with her—how helping someone fulfill a final wish can bring comfort to grieving families; how respecting a client’s choice, even when nothing can be done, is still a form of care. Walking alongside others has kept Wendy’s work fresh and meaningful—and being trusted remains one of the greatest gifts in her journey.

現於幼兒機構服務，支援具有特殊教育需要的小孩，作出適當的轉介及評估，陪伴家長一起照顧孩子情緒上的需要。

Wendy Wong is a registered social worker in Hong Kong. She has served in elderly residential homes, and spent nearly a decade working in hostels for people with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities—providing life skills training, case support, and assistance to families.

At a crisis hotline centre, she supported individuals facing domestic violence, suicidal thoughts, and other urgent emotional needs.

She now works in an early childhood organization, supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), facilitating referrals and assessments, and walking with parents as they care for their children’s emotional well-being.

香港心理學會副院士、註冊輔導心理學家，亦是亞洲專業輔導及心理協會主席、註冊臨床督導、輔導員。畢業於香港樹仁大學，以優異成績獲得輔導心理學社會科學碩士學位，曾修讀香港大學家庭研究院證書課程。現正攻讀輔導研究的博士學位，致力於科研的輔導手法，令社會大眾更擁抱心理健康。Isaac一直於大專院校授課，亦為本地學士及碩士學位學生擔任研究督導及臨床督導工作。曾在主流學校、自閉症學童學校、特殊學習障礙機構，以及不同私人和社福團體，提供個人及團體輔導、心理評估和生涯輔導服務，協助個人及父母發掘孩子潛能。曾多次受電視、電台及報章訪問，著作包括：《做自己的情緒管理師：20個負面情緒管理法（增訂版）》、《心理學家的工具箱：疏導負面情緒的10大溝通法則》、《與孩同行：心理學家教你拆解16個育兒挑戰》、《青春的歷練：20個青少年成長的心理挑戰》等。

Guest Introduction - Isaac Yu

An Associate Fellow and Registered Counselling Psychologist of the Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS), as well as Registered Supervisor, Registered Counsellor and President of the Asian Professional Counselling and Psychology Association (APCPA). Isaac graduated with distinction from the Hong Kong Shue Yan University with a Master of Social Sciences in Counselling Psychology and completed a certificate program at the University of Hong Kong’s Family Institute. Currently pursuing a PhD in Counselling Studies, he is dedicated to researching counselling methods to promote mental well-being in society.Isaac has been teaching at tertiary institutions and serving as a research and clinical supervisor for undergraduate and master’s students. He has provided individual and group counselling, psychological assessments, and life planning guidance in mainstream schools, autism support schools, and special education organizations, as well as various private and social service groups, helping individuals and parents unlock their children’s potential.He has been interviewed multiple times by TV, radio and print media. His published works include "Be Your Own Emotion Coach: 20 Ways to Manage Negative Emotions (Expanded Edition)", "The Psychologist’s Toolbox: 10 Key Communication Strategies for Handling Negative Emotions", "Parenting with a Psychologist: 16 Common Challenges Explained", and "Teen Life Lessons: 20 Psychological Challenges in Adolescence".
