Dan Bauman is a Reiki Master, an artist, and a survivor of a Near Death Experience.  Dan spent two weeks in a coma and during that time Dan traveled to another place.  There are many instances of near-death experiences but what makes Dan's experience so unique is that he returned with three lessons that were shared with him that he is just now sharing with us.  His near-death experience was the culmination of the abyss stage in Dan's journey.  He had a childhood filled with trauma, he was a young gay boy growing up in a small town in Pennsylvania sixty years ago, and he spent years lost in drugs and alcohol abuse.  I feel fortunate to share this incredible story with you. 

Our guest for this episode is Dr. Sian Proctor.  Dr. Proctor is an African American explorer, scientist, STEM communicator, and she was down to the last 27 people selected to be an astronaut for NASA. She is a geology, sustainability, and planetary science professor. She has also appeared in three educational TV shows.  She was on The Colony Season 2 which was aired on The Discovery Channel. She has appeared on the PBS series Genius By Stephen Hawking. She is currently featured on the science show Strange Evidence.

Now that is an incredible resume but what makes Sian's journey so unique is she was a trailblazer.  Until recently, she was the only black female she met in the past thirty years in her fields of study.  You can imagine that she has faced numerous obstacles on her journey and she shares how she overcame them and the lessons learned.  We also talk about what we should expect from the increasing climate changes and what we each of us can do.

Angela Howell is a coach, speaker, artist, and author of the bestselling book Finding the Gift: Daily Meditations for Mindfulness.  Through her journey, Angela has faced many traumas and difficulties.  Some of her challenges include being molested at eight years old, physical assaults,  being involved in an armed robbery of a pharmacy, and then a dog attack that nearly killed her.  All the while managing years of chronic pain. She is here to share the wisdom she has gained from her journey.  What you will discover is that deep in her heart she believes that everything that has happened to her is for her good.

This is part two of my talk with cancer survivor Robert Harrion.  Robert has survived three major surgeries in two weeks and a  three year long battle with stomach cancer. My talk with Robert had a major impact on me in many ways but for one it changed my eating habits.  Robert had a scare about six months ago that he talks about in this episode when he discovered some possible pre-cancer cells in his abdominal area.  Faced with that he decided to change one thing. His diet. He stopped eating meat except for the occasional fish and his condition has improved. I have since stopped eating meat.  

Although I feel that Robert's greatest lesson he has to teach from his experience is what we need to let go of rather than what we can gain in this life.

Join our community by joining Patreon today.  Our guest for this episode is Robert Harrion (www.robertharrion.com).  Robert is a survivor of a rare form of cancer.  Robert had pockets of cancer spread throughout his abdominal cavity.  He was given a less than 30% chance of survival and had a difficult time finding a doctor who would perform the surgery that was needed to give Robert a chance of survival.  His surgery was the equivalent of having five surgeries done at once.  It was a 12-hour procedure.  Now, this alone would be a monumental obstacle to overcome and heal from, but there were complications.  Robert had to have two more surgeries within two weeks.  So he had three major surgeries within fourteen days.  Which is rare and put his chance of survival at less than 10%.  He is still here to share the wisdom he gained from his hero's journey.

My guest for this episode is Michael Farris, who is the District Sales Manager at Etactics Inc. Michael is a person who went through a complete transformation of his body and mind. He grew with many poor health habits.  He was an obese child and teenager which continued into his adult life.  At his lowest point in the valley of his journey, Michael was in his early thirties, and he weighed 280 lbs. Keep in mind Michael is 5'5 tall.   When he came out of the abyss on one fateful day, he began to take responsibility for what he had become.  This episode is for those who believe that they can never make a permanent change in their life.  Michael is now in the best shape of his life physically, mentally, and spiritually.  In our talk, you will find out how went from being on the fast track to an early grave to doing Yoga every morning at 5:30 seven days a week.  Michael has been a salesman since he was fifteen and his great wit and charm comes through this exploration into massive change.  

Christine Ayala is Sr. Product Development Manager at Kolbe Corp, a highly trained musician, a speaker, and author of the book One Spirit One Church.  She is currently working on her second book which will be out in time for the Christmas season. Christine Ayala has been involved in some level of Christian ministry since she was a teenager. She has played many roles in the ministry.  In addition to her work at Kolbe Corp, she is devoting herself to spreading the message of overcoming division and achieving oneness in the church through her speaking, coaching, and writing.

Christine is also a person who experienced what one could only call a miracle cure from a lifelong.  She and others would call it a faith healing, but no matter what your beliefs are what happened to Christine current science has no explanation. I must admit to you I am what some call a non-believer, I prefer to say if asked about my religion or beliefs that I am from the school of "I Don't Know."  Even though I am from the school of I don't know I cannot deny the incredible miracle that happened in Christine's life.

My guest for this episode is Chris Tai Melodista.  As a lifelong student of martial arts, Chris has always enjoyed challenging himself both physically and mentally by exploring new ways to improve himself and helping others find ways to do the same. He is a certified life coach from the Hendricks Institute, a master practitioner in Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and clinical hypnosis.  His practice draws from a vast range of experience in movement, meditation and breath work including Yoga, Systema Russian martial arts, and MovNat. In addition, he was the first person in the US to be Wim Hoff certified back in 2014. Now, that is an impressive resume, but what leaves a greater impression on you is when you are taking one of his workshops.  I had the privilege to participate in a workshop that he and his business partner Jared who operate  Be Jaya - Reset Rebalance Recover facilitated together at Vibetality in Chandler AZ.  It was one of the best workshops I have ever been involved in.  This is the hero's journey of Chris Tai Melodista.
