There were many questions raised in the community on how to pursue a career in robotics. I have mentioned a detailed outline on what inspired me work on robotics, what gave me a spark of confidence to dive deep into this field and how I am working on this field.
This podcast helps you understand how a drone can fly. We will diving into the two principles that govern for flying a drone. We also discuss about what are basic components that are required for it.
There are 4 major machining techniques that are used to manufacture a robot. These are CNC,VMC, Wire EDM and 3D Printing. We will diving deep into these techniques and spot which are suitable for mass production and why that particular machining technique is used. Apart from the charaterstic of the machining technique we will compare and contrast these with the old school methods of manufacturing. We will also understand how to implement these techniques for us to fabricate the desired component.
Robots are utilized in all fields including space. Space travel or space exploration is so advanced that scientist are sending robots to get details and contents about other planets without risking the lives of humans. They also play a crucial role to provide safety and are operated where the environment is harsh to travel for astronauts. Kirobo is the first space robot sent by Japanese that can communicate with the fellow astronaut and helps in improving the space exploration.
I am grateful for the support you all have given me in this journey and I want to take this podcast to an another step. So, I am launching a new series known as IT'S ALL ABOUT PEOPLE episode 8. In this series I am going to interview people of various fields and gather their experiences which will help us to grow in our lives.
ISRO hopes to launch a human into space for the first time. The development of a crew module and rocket systems that will guarantee the safe flight and return of the Indian astronaut is a race against time. While other nations that have successfully launched humans into space have done so after testing their rockets and crew recovery systems on animals, ISRO will employ a humanoid to see how well its GSLV Mk III rocket performs while carrying a person into orbit and back down again. The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre's robotics lab is where the humanoid is currently being developed. For its space endeavors, ISRO has a lot of expertise building robotic systems. The Vikram lander system, which was utilized for the September 2019 Chandrayaan 2 mission to the Moon, was built on artificial intelligence. It did this by calculating distances, speeds, and processing directives stored in the lander systems.
Aquatic robots are capable of swimming, diving, and crawling. When human activity causes ecological disasters that have an impact on aquatic life, such as oil spills and man-made constructions like dams, robotic fish can be deployed. Depending on your robot design, driving mechanisms for aquatic robots may include tails, fins, thrusters, wings, paddles, paddle wheels, air pumps, etc. Swimming robots are just as cool as flying robots; the only difference is that swimming robots can move underwater and are used to explore and learn more about our marine environment. These robots can resemble insects, fish, or large snakes, among other things. A wire that brought power and instructions down to the robot fish allowed it to capture pictures and videos, use stereoscopic video cameras as well as control mechanisms, collect artefacts, and learn about the water's conditions. Scientists will be better equipped to research ecosystems on other worlds if they learn how to study harsh situations here on Earth.
The future of factory automation is key aspect to determine how the products will be manufactured. It also provides an idea to the worker on how their jobs will be affected. I have also stated how future of factory automation can both decrease and increase jobs by looking at the history of technology. The future of factory automation can helper a viewer to know more about robotics.
