Part 2 of our Quentin Tarantino retrospective is finally here! We discuss the film that changed it all for Tarantino: PULP FICTION, the film critically lauded by so many and the tone of which so many less-talented directors have tried to emulate. We look again at the cultural impact of the film as well as its personal impact on us as viewers of cinema, and its place in the wider world of the Tarantinoverse. Whether it’s robbing diners, having heroine (see what I did there?) overdoses, shooting Marvin in the face, killing a couple of Redneck rapists, or listening to Christopher Walken monologue how he managed to hide Butch’s daddy’s watch, this is a film that still manages to shine and entertain to this day. Oh, and you can see where that guy from the Direct Line advert originally comes from. Spoilers. (0riginally recorded 26/11/19)
