What does it really mean to be unbothered?
In this episode, we're breaking down the difference between true peace and simply pretending not to care. Being unbothered isn't about becoming cold, shutting down your emotions, or acting like nothing affects you. It's also not about burying your feelings, distracting yourself, or waiting for justice, apologies, validation, karma, or revenge before you can move forward.
Real peace comes from facing what you feel, processing it honestly, and learning to sit with yourself through discomfort. It's accepting that some questions may never be answered, some apologies may never come, and some people may never understand your perspective.
Because being unbothered isn't about being emotionally unattached and disheartened. It's about choosing your peace over the constant need for closure, validation, or revenge, and moving forward with a life that isn't defined by what someone else did or didn't do.

What if the life you're living today is being shaped by the lessons you're avoiding?
In this deeply personal episode, I'm sharing the hard truths, painful mistakes, and life-changing lessons that transformed me from the person I was in my early 20's into the person I am today.
We'll talk about emotional avoidance, boundaries, self-worth, forgiveness, validation, healing, and the patterns that keep us stuck longer than we need to be. I'll share the choices that created unnecessary challenges in my life, the consequences that forced me to grow, and the lessons I learned that ultimately brought me more peace, clarity, and freedom.
This isn't an episode about having a perfect life. It's about learning how to stop making life harder than it already is.
If you've ever struggled to let go, found yourself repeating the same cycles, questioned your worth because of how someone treated you, or felt stuck between who you are and who you want to become, this conversation is for you.
Because sometimes the lessons that break us are the very lessons that rebuild us.

This episode explores the difficult but important truth that not everyone who enters our lives is meant to stay forever. Some people are seasonal—they come into our lives to teach us, grow us, challenge us, or change us, and then they leave. That doesn’t mean the relationship was a mistake, and it doesn’t mean you weren’t enough. It simply means their role in your story had an ending. In this episode, we talk about the truths we must accept when people leave, why we often hold on longer than we should, and how we can rewire our minds to stop seeing endings as failures and start seeing them as part of our growth. Because sometimes the most important people in our lives are not the ones who stay forever, but the ones who changed us while they were here.

In this episode, we explore the powerful difference between fighting, giving up, and true surrender—and why letting go isn’t weakness, but strength. So many of us exhaust ourselves trying to control people, outcomes, and situations that were never ours to carry, believing that if we just try harder, things will change. But what if peace isn’t found in pushing more, but in releasing what no longer belongs to us? If you’ve ever felt stuck between holding on and letting go, this conversation will challenge your perspective and help you recognize when it’s time to stop forcing and start choosing peace.

Sometimes life gives us moments where all we can say is, “Well… that one hurt.” In this episode, we talk about what it means to move forward after our plan doesn't work out the way we thought it would. Whether it is a life opportunity, relationship, personal expectations, or circumstances, it hurts when things don’t work out the way we hoped. Sometimes, we may even begin believing that good things just aren’t meant for us. But one painful moment doesn’t get to define our future. This episode explores how to process the hurt without getting stuck in it, why not every closed door is a failure, and how choosing the high road means holding onto hope even when the outcome wasn’t what we expected. If you’ve ever struggled to move forward after something didn’t work out, this conversation will encourage you to keep going and trust that your story isn’t finished yet.

This episode will help you separate the trigger from the truth, build discernment instead of defense, and choose awareness over impulse. You’re not broken — you’re healing. And every time you choose to respond instead of react, you’re taking the high road.

In this episode, we dive into the hidden weight of toxic positivity and hustle culture—the unspoken pressure to keep pushing forward, even when our hearts and minds are exhausted. We explore why it’s not only okay, but necessary, to slow down, acknowledge what we’re really feeling, and let ourselves be human in seasons that are hard and uncomfortable. Instead of pretending everything is fine, we talk about embracing stillness, honoring our emotions, and learning that true strength isn’t found in faking positivity, but in accepting that sometimes it’s okay not to be okay.

In this episode of The High Road Podcast, we’re talking about how to set clear boundaries, limit access to your energy, and reserve seats only for those who help you grow. We’ll dive into why people cross the line, why it’s so hard to say no, and how to protect your space without losing your compassion. If you’ve been feeling heavy, stuck, or surrounded by the wrong energy, this conversation will help you reclaim your table and fill it with only the best.

Whether you’re a single parent, co-parenting, or in a partnership, this conversation is for you.
We explore a deeply impactful clip from The Mel Robbins Podcast, where her cohost breaks down research that shows what children truly need to succeed — and it’s simpler and more encouraging than you might think. I also open up about my own journey as a single mom: the loneliness, the growth, and the beauty I found in embracing my season.
You’ll walk away with tools, mindset shifts, and real encouragement to help you not just survive this season, but thrive in it — and use your strength to empower your children in lasting ways.
