This episode touches on some of the differences and similarities between the NAIA and NCAA. The NAIA offers a lot of the same things that the NCAA school offers which includes athletic scholarships, academic scholarships and walk on opportunities.

It also provides an opportunity to improve both academically and athletically, which leads to an Associate's Degree which is the goal while there.

Decoding the coaches message. There are times during the recruiting process where coaches are not totally transparent. There a questions that should be asked AND answered to get a better understanding of where you are in the coaches list of potential recruits. In this episode, I discuss some of the language that coaches give to indicate just how the feel about you potentially joining their program.

One of the most stressful times for a student athlete is knowing if you are actively being recruited or not. I discuss the signs to look for to know if you are part of a list that includes 200 other student athletes, or are you REALLY being recruited.
