The Historic Trails Award is achieved by scouting units in recognition of historic activity on a historic trail. Hiking metals on specific trails can qualify for this group award. Typically Scout Troops can hike and camp along the trail to give service back to the historic society. There are only three requirements for the Historic Trails Award.
