Despite its controversy, speaking in tongues is well-documented in the Bible. It functions as a tool for magnifying God and, contrary to some beliefs, should not be prohibited. Acts 10 and Acts 19 provide further instances of both Jews and Gentiles receiving the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. Why would God devote so much scripture to this if it were not meant to be an enduring aspect of our faith journey?

The decision to speak in tongues is personal. God does not impose His will on us; instead, we choose to believe and receive. Like other acts of faith within God's kingdom, it requires our active participation.
