This hour, Paul flies solo to open up with some of the things he's been up to this past week such as teaching classes over at LSU before opening up the lines to hear from WWL listeners about topics such as when going on vacation or leaving for work, how long, if at all, should you turn off your homes AC system if you'd like to and if the science backs up the thinking, as well as making sure your P-traps help curb sewer system odors making their way up and out into your home, and is there a time in which it is too cold to put on a new roof?

Paul helps WWL listener go over some of the reasons as to why you should never turn your AC off, even if you go on vacation, as it might cost you more in moving air volume when you turn it back on.

Paul opens up flying solo today helping WWL listeners with and the classes Paul has been teaching over at LSU this past week and what you can do to fix an rotten odor smell coming from a bathroom.

On today's show, Paul flies solo discussing what he is seeing this week and what is on his mind the issues faced when trying to find a leak within your home that only leaks during a hard rain and how vital moisture meters are for determining such a leak and we spend a huge portion of the show looking at whole home air filtration units and the highs and lows, the dos and don'ts, the need to know info and views that Paul has on the types and ones he likes and would recommend. Later on, Paul goes back to the phone lines to help WWL callers piece together a noisy A/C unit and the issue many people face when trying to insulate underneath vinyl flooring.

In the 2nd hour, Paul chugs along reminding us with Daylight Savings Time coming tomorrow, this is a great time to make sure your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are ready to rock if need be, as well as some good advice about making sure they are located in the best possible spots in your home, before we dive back into the phone line hearing from someone on why their AC unit is much louder than usual whenever it comes on, a kitchen hood vent over an island that is accidentally taking IN air instead of pushing OUT air, and the best advice you can find on insulating your vinyl flooring.

Paul goes back to the phone lines to help a WWL callers figure out why his AC unit is so loud whenever it turns on and some overall concerns about how to properly manage a kitchen hood vent over an island to curb the vent from pulling air from outside the house.

Paul opens up with a very timely reminder to check and replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and some of the dos and don'ts of installing your detectors, and how does Paul feel about having a large air purifier to help my air units filter smaller dust, dirt, etc.?
