Sabine Kvenberg, Entrepreneur, Author, Singer/Songwriter, Coach and Inspirational Speaker was born and raised in Hamburg Germany. In 1994 she relocated to the United States. She is co-owner and operator of M&S Studio in Fredericksburg, a 16 year old performing arts school that serves the Fredericksburg, VA community. Thousands of area students have received training in the arts of singing, dancing, acting and modeling through the studio. THE EVENING OF APRIL 17, 1980, Suzanne (Suzy) Ward was packing for her next day's business trip when she received the call from Panama that changed her life: Her 17-year-old son Matthew had died after a vehicle crash that day. It was early February 1994, almost 14 years after Matthew's death, when he started speaking to his mother. Heal Yourself, Heal Your World is about emotional healing. In our society there are basically two approaches we take to dealing with emotions. Emotions are either regarded as a physical problem (meaning they are a biochemical problem) to be solved with drugs or they are a mental problem, something to be solved with counseling or attitude changes. In either case, emotions are assigned a "second-rate" position with the body or the brain being more important.

However, the heart is composed largely of nerve cells and more and more evidence is emerging that the heart (and the body) have their own intelligence. Steven has come to realize that emotions are the communications of our heart. We need to start listening to them and understanding what they are trying to say to us. In fact, he goes so far as to claim that there are really no negative emotions (that is, no emotion is bad in and of itself), there are only negative ways of dealing with emotions.
