Auli Mantila started her hoof-care career a bit later than most do, and her commutes to farrier school actually inspired her to create something in her other profession - which is a very unusual one for a farrier! I won’t spoil it, listen to the podcast to find out what it is.

We also discuss Finn horses, and shoeing in sub zero temperatures, with horses that can have frozen hooves and an inch of snow on them, plus many other interesting parts of being a farrier in Finland.
