Growing up impoverished in Brooklyn, New York, Robert Borelli felt anything but certain or satisfied. By the time he was 10 years old, Robert found himself having to fight as a means of self-protection. His fighting earned him the respect of the Gambino crime family, the mafia in charge of his neighborhood. Always drawn to the lavish lifestyle that these crime lords appeared to have, Robert felt honored to be welcomed into their midst. By 20 years old, he was arrested for 2 murders and spent much of his adult life in and out of prison.
