While no greater example of forgiveness has ever been more powerfully displayed than through Christ’s ultimate sacrifice on the cross, there are certain offenses that can take tremendous work for humans to forgive. Today’s Hopecast guest is Dr. David Jenkins, who knows better than most just how challenging that offering forgiveness can be in certain circumstances. David sits down with Rachael and shares the horrific story of the torture and murder of his brother, at the hands of someone who misidentified his own victim. David openly explains how his anger towards his brother’s murderer almost got the best of him and how in a moment of complete anguish, God stepped in and began a transformative work in David’s heart.
