February 5th, 2018 started out like any normal Monday for Deputy Scott Stone, his fellow detective, Deputy Micah Flick, and the rest of the B.A.T.T.L.E. (Beat Auto Theft Through Law Enforcement) Task Force. What followed was a shootout that left Deputy Flick and the shooter dead, Deputy Stone in critical condition, permanently paralyzed a bystander, and injured two other officers. In this episode Deputy Stone and Micah's widow, Rachael, talk about Scott's memories from the shooting, his long recovery process and why he chose to continue his career in law enforcement.
