The Horrorble People's Podcast

Summor Horror - We're Alive!

We've missed you! Join Anthony and Alix as they dive into two of the horror films living rent-free in our heads the last few weeks (rent free?! in THIS ECONOMY?). As well as talking about some of the upcoming horror flicks this year. Did you know they're making a new Anaconda? We didn't.

Seriously though, we miss you guys and can't wait to get back into the swing of things. We have a BIG video episode coming out soon too to formally welcome us back into the podcasting fold.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX?! Find out in this week's episode as Alix, Anthony and Phill take a deep dive in David Fincher's classic: Seven......or Se7en if you're nasty. Sit back and have a gluttonous time as the team dissect this iconic noir thriller with plot and production details and some fun questions at the end. Become wrath and leave a good review!

In a very relaxed episode, join Alix and guest Danny Gutierrez from Hops and Notes as we discuss this woefully underrated found footage horror film: Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor, while the title is entirely too long, we break down the plot and gush about this movie. It's got everything, jumpscares, thrifting lesbians, and creepy clowns, what's not to love? Also, who's the WORST character in found footage? Let's discuss.

October is here and we're going to the south for this one... the deep south. The team takes a trip to hell and the Big Apple with Adam Sandler's 2000 box office bomb LITTLE NICKY! Does it deserve all the hate it gets or is it an underrated (not uncut) gem? We got takes!

Oh and we totally determine which is the actual best Sandler movie of all time. Enjoy!

We are so very back with an all new episode! Join Alix, Anthony and Phill as they go back to the gothic victorian age of 2001 with The Others!

This spooky victorian ghost tale stars Nicole Kidman and a house full of creepy shit! It's safe to say that heartbreak does feel good in a place like this! Don't miss this episode as we deliver a plot breakdown, fun facts about the movie and the gang's review on The Others. Enjoy episode 271!

Ghostface is back, baby! This week the gang tackles Scream IV, the technology, the new blood, etc. Phill is high on... (checks notes) tacos and despite their best efforts Anthony and Alix cannot rein him in. It's not all fun and games though, the gang pays tribute to THE horror director, Wes Craven.

SEASON 7 BEGINS on a Friday the 13th, so naturally, why not cover the 8th installment of the movie that carries that namesake... this time in the big apple! That's right, we're covering FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VIII: JASON TAKES MANHATTAN

We break down the absurd plot of Jason's cruise ship experience, talk about the script that could have been, try to find other vacation destinations for Jason, and possibly assign Webster a new nickname. WE'RE BACK BABY!

Microsoft bringing back de-listed Marvel games from year's past AND Ubisoft's Switch 2 launch plans? Big August with LOTS to talk about.

We run through GamesCom announcements, Last of US 2 TV show actress's woes with superfans, and a whole lot more. We also go on a long trip down nostalgia lane for the Nintendo DS in the 2000s, when inappropriate picto chat made movie premieres fun.

Check it out!

Season 6 is in the books folks! As we close out the season we’re revisiting some of our favorite (and least favorite) horror films released in 2024 so far, as well as anticipating what is up next before we take our hiatus. Joining us this week is Danny Gutierrez from Turning Tables Podcast and Hops and Notes!

We talk about our hiatus this year and what that means for Season 7 at the end of the episode! Thank you Danny for closing out the season with us!

See you for episode 269 (nice) in September!

Season finale month continues with a LETHAL sequel that exchanges the literal jungle with a concrete version, along with a very absurd plot. That's right, we're talking PREDATOR 2 starring Danny Glover and Gary Busey.

Is this a guilty pleasure, relic of filmmaking's past, or absurd monsterfest? How about all three? Find out our opinion as we breakdown this 90s special effects driven madhouse. Enjoy!
