Our favorite month begins with a goth take on American folklore with one of our favorite filmmakers - and two hilariously stoned hosts! We're talking Tim Burton's SLEEPY HOLLOW from 1999!

The team takes a look at the American legend, and how a filmmaker at the top of his game snatched the story from a make up effects artist and ultimately made a way better film. It's a little more complicated than that but they get into it! There's talk of peanut butter ramen, the Depp/Burton duo, and a whole lot of nostalgia.

We are closing out our premiere month with a good ol' double feature, but in true Alix Webster tradition, they have to be as weird as humanly possible. The team is tackling Resolution & The Endless from filmmaker duo Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson. Armed with G&Ts, and enough asides to kill a man, it's a fun one. We follow two filmmakers at their absolute prime and  breakdown each tale in all their absurd glory. It's bloody, funny, and well worth a watch. Enjoy this nostalgia pic for month one of season 5!

We cover the beginnings of Radio Silence and how they grew with horror to bring us a unique, and bloody modern day classic. Anthony and Alix also bring in this season's first play-by-play, debate the importance of middle names, somehow riff on Jenga, and show some much needed Adam Brody appreciation.

WE'RE BACK EVERYONE! In the past we've introduced our seasons with Hitchcock, a stabby sequel, Stephen King + Tim Curry, and some very paranormal found footage... So how about some good old fashion revenge this year? Make it two!

Season 5 starts with another entry in our REMAKE VS OG series as we cover the 1972 and 2009 versions of THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. We cover the beginnings of Wes Craven, the baptist born professor who left everything to work on porno, only to somehow land in horror! There was a lot of steps in-between. Oh and did he make people MAD.

We later come back to Craven after establishing a successful career, and getting a shot and retelling his first tale in one of the most brutal eras of horror. There's angry christians, disinterested critics, torn friendships, crazy method actors, and more to bring in the new season!

It feels good to be back! 5 stars for season 5, yeah?
