1. In the Old Testament, “sons of God” (Ben, Elohim) referred to angels, even princes of high rank, as seen in Job 1:6.
2. In the New Testament, through Christ’s love, we are called the sons of God (Teknon)—born again as true children of God
3. To be born again is to be recreated in God’s image, just as man was first created in His likeness with dominion
4. Jesus is the prototype—the firstborn and express image of God—through whom we share sonship and authority in heavenly places
