Dr. Courtnay Konshuh is an Assistant Professor of History at Queensborough Community College, a City University of New York, and an expert on Anglo-Saxons. Dr. Konshuh researches centuries of Anglo-Saxon history using historical, anthropological, archaeological, and literary skills, which give her insight into the medieval period. Her work looks at how writers portrayed leaders in an effort to create Anglo-Saxon identities. You can follow her on twitter @courtnalia.
