We are joined by Rami Baassiri, CEO of Manj, a house of brands in the homecooked space delivery in Bucharest. Rami is an expert in both food and tech companies, which puts him into a unique spot to understand the convergence of these fields and potential for change. He was part of the Uber Ops team, then, in 2019, Rami started working in Cloud Kitchens, headed by the Uber Founder Travis Kalanick, where he launched new markets and scaled the B2B sales team to 50 people in the middle east.
The pandemic has made the adoption of convenient meals skyrocket, but there are still challenges ahead in how consumers across different markets and cultures prefer to eat their meals.
