  • How a New Mental Health Initiative is Helping to Save Lives | Paul Hendry

Mental health has been a big area of discussion for the Global Series and  Network over the past year and we are always privileged to welcome passionate health and safety professionals onto our platform to discuss it.

This week HSE Network sits down with Paul Hendry of Jacobs to discuss the new One Million Lives Initiative.

One Million Lives is a mental health drive that seeks to help people become more aware of their own issues through mental health check-ins. Initially a Jacobs project, Paul has expanded the drive beyond and has ambitions to make the platform a mainstay into 2021 and beynd.

Paul shares some moving stories of workers who have uncovered serious issues through the mental health check ins, and we have a great chat about why Paul started the initiative and where he sees it going in the future.
