Teach us to pray: Give us this day

We continue our series by exploring the transformative power of praying for our “daily bread,” reminding us that God’s provision is designed for today’s needs rather than tomorrow’s anxieties. We are invited to experience “today” as God’s gift, and trust that God’s grace is always enough for the present moment.

Also included is a conversation between Martha and our moderator Susan Stevenson about what has brought Martha to this point. The recording concludes with Holy Communion shared around tables.

Journey to the Cross

On this Palm Sunday we hear the powerful story of Jürgen Moltmann – survivor of the 1943 Hamburg firestorm and former POW – whose encounter with extreme suffering led him to discover God in human forsakenness. He went on to challenge the idea of a distant deity, revealing instead a ‘crucified God’ who shares in our pain, suffering, and injustice.
