#026 - There are so many ways to enjoy time together as a family.  For Ryan Wynder and his family one of their passions is attending sporting events.  

In this episode I speak with Ryan Wynder about all his memories and adventures attending sporting events over the years.  Ryan is a fan of all types of sports.  Basketball, baseball, football and hockey.  It doesn't matter.  If there is an event Ryan likes to be there.  Attending these events has become a way for the Wynders to enjoy time together.  

Ryan shares his memories of some fun experiences along the way like seeing Tom Brady throw his 500th touchdown pass, participating in "Jump Around" at a Wisconsin Badger's football game,  and being in Los Angeles to witness the Red Sox win the World Series!!  The best part is the memories he has with his family.

#025 - Where the heck is Belize!!  That is a question a lot of us ask and even my guest Travis Wilde was not really sure, but he knew it was a place he wanted to take his family for some adventures and memories.

I was fortunate to talk to my friend, Travis Wilde, about this once in a lifetime family trip to Belize.  Part of the memories of this trip include just getting to Belize and the hassles with air travel and the chaos that can create.

Belize is full of all kinds of adventures for any of us.  Travis gives us a glimpse into both the ocean side of things as well as the jungle part of the trip.  I was fully engaged in the stories and memories including a trip through the ATM cave in Belize.  Hold onto your hats for this non-stop family adventure of the Wilde Family!!

#024 - I can't seem to stay away from Disney.  We enjoyed the Castagno's as they told us about their love for Disneyland.  Now we are heading across the country to Florida to Disney World!

My guest on Journey with Jake is Daniela from @monorailmagic_ and she shares her love for Disney World, a place that she begin visiting as a child from New York.  Daniela takes us back to her childhood and the memories of her time visiting Disney World.  She also jumps ahead to to her time as an adult and points out some of her favorite resorts and attractions at Disney World.  I love Daniela's passion and love for a place that has such meaning to her since she was a child.

#023 - Aloha!  That's right time to head out across the pacific to Hawaii.  This episode about Hawaii is a little bit different as I had the chance to speak with Cole Young who is only 11 years old!

I thought it would be fun to jump into the mind and thoughts of a youngster like Cole.  Hawaii is really only part of the story or journey.  Speaking to a kid really brought some energy to me and Cole has a lot of energy.  It was fun to hear his honest feelings and joy that these trips to Hawaii have brought to him as he has had the chance to visit several times with his family.

You are going to want to keep your eye on Cole.  Not only is he just a fun great kid.  He is also a talented actor and is performing at the famous Hale Center Theater in Utah as part of the 2022/2023 production of the Little Mermaid.  I am going to claim that I had him first before he is too famous to remember!!

#022 - Welcome to the Happiest Place on Earth!  That's right.  We are going to Disneyland.  Join Tony and Jen Castagno as they share their love for Disneyland.

Tony and Jen have been going to Disneyland since they were kids.  Now as a married couple with kids they continue that tradition of creating memories for themselves and their children. 

As someone who loves Disneyland myself it was such a fun time to relive the special magical moments that a place like Disneyland creates.  The interaction with characters.  The first time seeing your kids go on attractions.  The sounds, sights and smells of Disneyland are lasting.  Jen and Tony really have a passion for Disneyland and you will hear that as you listen to this episode.

Mountain Town Ramblers is a podcast all about Kyle and Theresa's experiences in mountain towns.  We get the inside access of why the Canadian Rocky Mountains and in particular Banff mean so much to Theresa and Kyle.  We touch on on all things about Banff and surrounding areas including many hikes and memories they have together and with other loved ones.  

They also dive into places to eat, drink and shop.  As well as some amazing hotels and places to stay.

#020 - Welcome to episode #20.  In this episode we hear from hiker, Josh Baker, about his many adventures hiking in the state of Washington.

Josh has been hiking since he was a kid.  Although he may have complained about hiking when he was young, hiking is now part of who Josh is.  Josh loves the adventure and difficulties that hikes can present.  He also loves the adventure and unknown of hiking.

#018 - In this episode I got to speak with Brooke Wheeler about something that has sparked my curiosity, but I have never participated in.  We talk about river rafting, but much more than that.

Brooke loves the outdoors and has found so much joy from her time on the river.  Brooke dives into some of the stories from her rafting adventures that make her who she is.  Including some wonderful experiences she got to have with her Dad.  

As you listen you will find that sometimes our adventures and courses through life can be very difficult, but it is those experiences that shape who we become.  I am grateful I learned that from Brooke in this episode.  Get ready to be exhausted as she takes us down the river and lets us in on the challenges that we often face.  Also get ready to be exhilarated as in the midst of our challenges we find beauty and accomplishment.   Come along as we go river rafting with Brooke Wheeler.

#017 - In this episode I am joined by Shana Butler.  Shana was born and raised in New England near Boston, Massachusetts.  Shana is an extensive traveler who has been to many different countries as well as so many places across the United States.  She talks about her travels on her own podcast Boston and Beyond Pod.  She also highlights a lot of her travels on her Instagram account @bost0nandbeyond . 

We could have talked about so many places that have meaning to Shana, but we stuck close to home and talked about her love for Boston.  Shana dove into the people of Boston and some of the places that she loves to include the North End and Back Bay areas.  

As someone who has been to Boston a few times it was such a pleasure and joy to talk with Shana and feel her love for her hometown of Boston and the New England area as whole.  Come along on this journey with Shana Butler to Boston!
