A young man is on my mission to make his neighbourhood safe for girls, just so his sister could watch him play his favourite sport! It's all about Safe spaces for girls!

A 9 year old discovers why nobody wants her. She is HIV + and her relatives want nothing to do with her after her parents pass away. She knows not the meaning of safety from then on. Sleeping on the streets, being raped and even attempting suicide 5 times. 10 years later, I talk to her about the importance of safe spaces and sit through a class of young men and women as they learn the dynamics of public spaces versus safe spaces.

My guest this week fell pregnant at 28 and quickly realised she was going to raise the baby on her own. She tells the story of heartbreak, her struggle with forgiveness and how in the end, she chooses to be happy. Enjoy!
