Rich introduces Tom to his prediction model for The Hundred, cricket's newest tournament. Using statistics and data from CricInfo, can Rich's model pick a clear winner of the competition? Trent Rockets all-rounder Steven Mullaney joins Rich and Tom ahead of the first games in The Hundred.  Steven is the Nottinghamshire Club Captain and brings a vast amount of experience to the squad, with over 1000 T20 runs and over 100 T20 wickets. With The Hundred just around the corner, Tom makes Rich and Oli make some predictions about the tournament.  Who will win? Who will star? With the tournament to start next week, a huge question still looms over The Hundred cricket tournament: how will the UK's COVID situation affect the availability of England players?   Ben Stokes wants to play and the England and Wales Cricket Board want The Hundred to succeed... but could COVID bubbles affect test player availability?  Oli, Tom and Rich (with his slightly dodgy internet connection) complete the final men's squad preview: Northern Superchargers. They look really strong, with Adil Rashid, Chris Lynn, Faf du Plessis and a talented youngster in Harry Brook.   But if Ben Stokes isn't there, will they be good enough to win?

Oli, Rich and Tom complete the final women's squad preview ahead of The Hundred starting next week. The Northern Superchargers look to have plenty of batting in the line-up, especially with the super powerful Aussie Laura Kimmince and Captain Lauren Winfield-Hill. If Jemimah Rodrigues hits form, they'll look much stronger too.  But will their bowling attack be robust enough?  This is The Hundred Club, cricket's new fan community.

It will be all change for Welsh Fire men after half of the tournament as they swap the fierce Kiwis Glenn Phillips and Jimmy Neesham for franchise stalwarts Kieron Pollard and Lungi Ngidi.  

Either way, Rich, Oli and Tom think the squad looks awesome. With England favourites such as Jonny Bairstow, Ben Duckett and Tom Banton in place, the batting looks particularly brutal.  

How much will Ollie Pope offer though with injury and England test duties looming? And how will the short, straight boundaries at Cardiff's Sophia Gardens affect the team tactics?

The Hundred have released a list of 'playing conditions' that will affect the way the tournament is run and how the game is played.  Oli, Rich and Tom debate the announcement: unnecessary changes or interesting improvements?

A really strong- and balanced-looking squad on paper, with the headlines definitely being grabbed by the return of the legendary Sarah Taylor.   

Sune Luus, Georgia Redmayne, Bryony Smith and Sophie Luff add plenty of depth at the top of the order, although Rich and Oli might be right to question the quality of Tom's research!  

The bowling attack looks decent too, perhaps spearheaded by Katie George or 'The New Katherine Brunt'. Might the two games between Welsh Fire and Southern Brave be the games that decide who will win the first ever iteration of The Hundred?
