The Hungover Historian

Professor Fayette rejoices over the decent LSU season as he recounts the years he was too drunk to watch football.

Explaining the South always takes a bit of time. I hope folks will humor me for allotting six-minutes to myself today.

Musings of a rambling Southerner who was lucky enough to attend Hilliard High School in a good ol' town in the American Midwest in the good ol' eighties.

Drunk as usual... But not drunk enough to remember the Vets (best) among us!

Drinking in Church. Have you done it?

I did a couple of weeks ago. I can't say I'm proud of it. But I can say that the Presbyteriens no longer call me up on Saturday to ask me to drive the church bus.

I hope you enjoy this edition of The Hungover Historian!

This is my rifle ....this is my gun...

This is for Alec Baldwin.....and this is for fun......

Sorry...I just can't get inside the head of a womanizer/child-abuser/hypocrite.

Musings about this day in history.

What the catfish are biting.

And why you never ever want to drink from the Admiral's bottle.

This morning the Hungover Historian recounts the time that Robert Reed of The Brady Bunch gave him an eight-dollar haircut in Bastrop, Louisiana.

Morning musings of an unemployed history buff who wonders just how is life turned into what it is.

Mere musings of a defunct broadcaster and history professor about life, history, and ladyboys. But, by God, I am proud of my French ancestors. So should you be. That is, if you have French ancestors with HUGE NUTS. That is explained in the podcast/broadcast!
