My friend Jill was in the Valley this week. We took our dogs on a walk and swim and the conversation that developed was worthy of hitting the record button. Jill spends half of her year traveling to learn from some of the best trainers in the country. It took some selective breeding about 60 years ago, but they got what they were looking for in Hungary. We just wrapped up a weekend in Wisconsin, learning some training methods that were new to me. I finally sit down with a DD owner, breeder and club member. And I did not have to brush up on my German. Max and his wife live and love the breed and the club that comes with it!  VDD-GNA is a group that sticks to the traditions that gave us many of the breeds that we hunt with and brag about today.
