    I had the pleasure of meeting Christy through Instagram. Her posts were so raw and authentic and I know I needed to connect with her.

    Christy is a single mom who is originally from California & made the move to Montana 4 years ago. She has 2 beautiful daughters Skyler 22, and Iris 14. Christy started sharing the real life truths about suicide ideation and teen mental health through her IG page, when her youngest daughter was struggling with her mental health. Christy wanted to share from a parent’s perspective as she knew some of what other parents were going through but no one is talking about it!

    By sharing her story Christy hopes to help educate & inspire others to speak up and/or get help, Her message is clear in letting others know they’re not alone. The more we can have open conversations, the sooner we can, hopefully, end the stigma around youth mental health. Christy wants parents and caregivers to know that your kids need YOU, to understand them and be their support system. The more we talk about it the more we bring this darkness into the light, the more lives we save. Talk about it before it’s a tragedy.
