On today’s episode of the HUSTLR podcast, I am joined by Ryan Sprance - Founder & CEO of Kaihatsu Media - A digital marketing agency that specializes in developing your brand, presence and reputation online. They are a full-service digital marketing agency focused on developing brand awareness and sales growth through social media, optimizing digital marketing spend and developing influencer marketing programs.
Before we begin, I’d like to share a bit of a backstory for Ryan, Ryan worked full-time jobs until May 2018, where he got fired for running his own Digital Marketing Agency as a side hustle. After that, he doubled down on the business and in a few short months - he grew his agency’s recurring revenue by 7x to $70k per month, becoming an A-player in the industry. In 2019, Kaihatsu Media is on track to do about $800,000 in sales this year. Another interesting fact, Ryan is also an associate producer for an Amazon Prime TV show - The Social Movement.
Stick around to the end of the episode if you want to know more about Ryan’s backstory and journey from being a struggling agency owner to bringing in $70k per month in 15 months.

In this episode, I am honored to have Ben Sim on the show. He is an accomplished copywriter who now works full time as a Senior Sales Copywriter for Mindvalley and runs his own workshops and seminars.
Ben had studied to become a lawyer, but quickly realized that’s not a line he wanted to pursue as a career. His true passion was teaching English, and he had always wanted to become an English teacher when he was young.
Shortly after completing his studies, Ben discovered the possibility of making a living from online marketing via Tai Lopez, and decided to dive deeper into copywriting since he’s always had an affinity with the English language.
We discussed familial pressures, finding your true calling in life, and Ben’s day to day as a copywriter. Ben also runs his own side hustle of conducting live workshops on copywriting, and actually generates most of his leads organically via Facebook Groups.
For any aspiring copywriters out there, Ben also shares exactly how he got started, and also gives some value bombs for those that plan to pursue online marketing.

We talked about familial pressures, self-limiting beliefs that negatively impact your career and the psychology behind the fear of failing. To say the least, Aiman has an unorthodox career path. He's never worked a 9 to 5 even though he is extremely well educated. Aiman is currently running a youth mentor business, he publishes YouTube content and podcast episodes consistently and has published multiple books in the past few years. Recently, he has published multiple online courses.

In this episode, I had the pleasure of having Anne Tham, Founder & Managing Director of Ace EdVenture Group. This down to earth woman is one heck of a visionary (an understatement) that has taken her passion for educating the next generation to the next level. Coming from humble beginnings, Anne currently runs two full-fledged private schools and a tuition center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Find out how she disrupted education with super unorthodox teaching methods (again, an understatement) and how she grew her education company from having only ten or so students to the tens of thousands she's impacted today.
Find out more about her schools, Dwi Emas and Sri Emas by clicking on these links.

I had the pleasure of hosting Laura on the show for this episode. She's a real hustler. When she decided that teaching wasn't what she wanted to do - she just took the leap into freelance writing. A few years down the line, she now manages a team of multiple writers and virtual assistants. She talks about the perks and habits that she's developed from working remotely and has relocated multiple times across the United States (her husband is an officer in the U.S. Army). She is currently dedicated to helping freelance writers succeed in their careers with her coaching courses at BetterBizAcademy.com and her newly launched book published alongside Entrepreneur Media.
