After the dreadful mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio, we see a familiar return to the blame game. Beto O'Rourke likened Trump to the Nazis, and placed the blame at the feet of the president.
Until we stop vilifying those who believe that gun rights should not be blindly removed, cease blaming everyone except the perpetrator, focus on the problem rather than the solution we seek, and finally, withdraw the reward of notoriety for those who hope to commit evil acts, this past weekend is a weekend we are doomed to repeat.
