God does not expect us to have a 100% certainty before making a decision. In fact, as is frequently witnessed by the saints, we are often called to make decisions where we have less than perfect clarity. If we believe discernment is different, we are fooling ourselves. If we have delayed discerning a vocation because we expect absolute certainty, perhaps we have made an idol out clarity. The three priests discuss what this looks like and means for discernment.
