With the 2024 NFL season a little over a week away, it's the perfect time to talk about two of our favorite subjects: linebackers and trades! First up, the Big 3 welcomes in the Green Dot King, Mike Woellert, to discuss the bombshell Ernest Jones trade, some ambiguous green dot situations to monitor, under-the-radar LBs with green dot and 3-down appeal, and Mike's LB flag plants for 2024. Then, after the break, it's a season kickoff edition of The IDP Trade Show, as Josh, Adam, and Bobby break down your IDP trades live on the show. Thanks to everyone who tuned into the livestream and submitted their trades for discussion -- and good luck with your drafts this weekend!

With the third week of the preseason underway, the 2024 NFL season is within striking distance. This past week's preseason action gave us some intriguing developments for our IDP leagues. Are any of them worth paying attention to? That's what Adam, Bobby, and Josh attempt to suss out on tonight's podcast. Before that, the trio goes through their IDP Madness drafts so far and discusses any changes they would've made looking back.

With Week 1 of the preseason wrapped, the Big 3 turn their attention to the juiciest storylines coming out of game action (plus some training camp news from this week). We wade through all the news and notes to give you the analysis you need as we inch ever closer to the regular season.

To catch you up on all the news, we're looking at IDP nuggets from beat reporters for all 32 squads, going division by division from the NFC North to the AFC West. With the start of IDP drafts being pretty chalky, the middle rounds are where drafters earn their money. After covering their favorite picks in the first 10 rounds previously, Josh and Adam are back to discuss the biggest values in rounds 11-20. If you're approaching these middle-round picks as opportunities to chase upside or go after boom/bust players, that's probably not the best approach. Listen in as we share a better way to tackle this portion of the draft.

Although we preach "fade DB" in IDP, that doesn't mean we dislike cornerbacks and safeties! In fact, thanks to an influx of young talent, the dynasty DB ranks are filled with studs we'd like to have on our teams. In this episode, Josh and Adam go through the top 24 DBs in Adam's dynasty rankings to see which guys are being overvalued and undervalued, who's due for regression in 2024, and which assets we like best long term.
Shout out to Kentucky's own Matt Duncan for the intro and outro music. The song sampled in this episode is "Summer Song" off Matt's 2013 album "Soft Times." You can check out more of Matt's music here.
