The IDP Show

Sigmund Bloom joins up with Josh, Adam, and Bobby from The IDP Show for this very special episode of The IDP Blitz, looking at the state of 3-down linebackers in the league. After an offseason spent wondering if every-down LBs were going extinct, what does the data through four weeks show us? The answer might surprise you! Given this data, how are we handling 3-down LBs in season? And who are some dynasty targets we're looking to acquire?

With three weeks of the 2022 NFL season in the books, is it time to panic about our underperforming IDPs? Josh and Adam enter the panic room to determine the appropriate level of worry for 15 highly-drafted IDPs who haven't lived up to expectations thus far. Which guys are worth being patient for? And which ones should be coming out of your lineups? The boys break it down for us in addition to hitting on some of the relevant IDP news, including the scary Myles Garret car accident.

Bobby and Evan Ronda team up once again to discuss what we should expect from our IDP assets in Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season. They grade the relevant players in every game as an A (preferred start), B (decent option), or C (would rather not start) to help you make those tough start/sit decisions. They also answer some questions from supporters over at TheIDPShow.com.

Devin White, take a bow. Devin Lloyd, welcome to the top 10 dynasty linebackers. It's the Devin Show after two weeks of the 2022 NFL season and the Big 3 are happy to be invited. After welcoming Connor into the Sode Shack to discuss the state of the Colts, the trio runs through the big IDP news and touches on some waiver targets. Then, to wrap things up, they talk through some of the top scorers at DL, LB, and DB from Week 2 and update the ambiguous situations from last week's episode with a fresh batch of data. It's only been two weeks, but as Josh, Adam, and Bobby dig into, this season has taught us a lot of interesting lessons already.

Josh joins with the pride of Canada, PFF's own Jon Macri, to reflect on what we learned in Week 1 and how it can help us moving into Week 2 of the NFL season. The duo kicks things off discussing the results from their shared All-22 league (including an idea for 2023) before turning their attention to Jon's Utilization Report for PFF and some nuggets he discovered putting that together for Week 1 (including some interesting LB developments). Then the guys answer some listener questions and wrap things up with a review of some of their favorite pop culture indulgences -- because we're not just football nerds here at The IDP Show!

Be sure to check out PFF.com to see all of Jon's work, including the weekly Utilization Report, which is a must-read for serious IDP gamers.

The 2022 NFL season is here and it's #OldManSZN! Amongst some standout IDP performances in Week 1, the veteran edge rushers in new places shone brightly. Khalil Mack, Von Miller, Chandler Jones, and Za'Darius Smith all looked fantastic in their debuts and we shouldn't be surprised, as these veterans were highly sought after for a reason. What other surprises were lurking in the top 24 scorers for Week 1? How are some of the league's most ambiguous situations for IDP looking now? And what are we supposed to do to fill the void left by TJ Watt's departure? That and more this week on The IDP Show!

It's time for Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season! To help us preview the first week of action, Adam welcomes Johny the Greek into the virtual Sode Shack to run down the matchups on tap for Sunday and Monday. Which IDPs should you fire up with confidence and which ones should be left on your bench? Adam and Johny sort it all out for us while also recapping the opening game between the Rams and Bills and answering some questions from listeners (including what to do with Blake Martinez in dynasty).

Be sure to follow Johny's work over IDPGuys.com and check out his podcast, The IDP Pro Players Pod.

It's finally here! After months of hype and prognostication, the wait is finally over: the 2022 NFL season kicks off this week and the Big 3 couldn't be more excited. To celebrate, the trio gathered in the Sode Shack for what's become an annual ritual: their IDP flag plants. Josh, Adam, and Bobby each bring forth three players and plant their flags on what they believe lies ahead for those players in 2022. Will they be right about each one? Probably not. (But maybe, though!) Whatever happens, they're going to have some fun along the way and they hope you do, too. Before flags get planted, the guys discuss the latest IDP news, give their season predictions (including their playoff teams and Super Bowl picks), and announce an exciting new collaboration with Footballguys and the great Sigmund Bloom. Be sure you're subscribed to The Audible podcast feed to catch the guys over there this season.
