As a significant push towards Make in India, Apple is responsible for producing 75% off the market share. Does this mean; the iPhones you are using are manufactured in the country?
According to sources aware of the development, Apple Inc. is producing 70% of the mobile phones it sells in the domestic market in India, as part of a significant push toward "Make in India."
This is a significant shift in Apple's approach following the government's Production Linked Incentive (PLI) plan, which began in FY21 and saw a 30% increase just two years ago.
Tune in to the episode to know more about Apple's masterplan to conquer the product manufacturing in the country.

A May 2021 rumour, claims that Apple intends to launch a challenger to the Nintendo Switch. If Apple does indeed release a gaming console, would you be willing to buy it? And how much would you pay for it?
This isn't the first report to suggest that Apple will make a move into the games console space, although previous reports had suggested that Apple would instead be ramping up the capabilities of the Apple TV as a gaming machine.
Whether Apple's planning a dedicated games console, or a next generation Apple TV with enhanced gaming capabilities, the company does seem to be taking gaming seriously. Apple has a clear interest in gaming on iOS and Apple Arcade brings these games to the Mac and Apple TV.

As with most of Facebook’s strategy announcements, Thursday’s rebranding formalized a shift that has been underway for years. Zuckerberg already has more than 10,000 people working on augmented and virtual reality projects in its Reality Labs division — roughly twice as many people as are on Twitter’s entire staff — and has said it plans to hire 10,000 more in Europe soon.
Earlier this week, the company announced that it would spend about $10 billion on metaverse-related investments this year, and it has been acquiring VR startups in what could amount to a metaverse land grab.
There are several types of questions one could ask about this metaverse strategy. The first and most basic is: What is a metaverse, and what will Facebook’s version of one look like? Tune in to the episode to know it all? Asides, what do you think about rebranding and a glorified future?

The new MacBook Pros bode well for Apple's attempt to take firmer control over its products. And they're bad news for Intel, whose chips Apple is ejecting from its Macs after a 15-year partnership. It's a loss of revenue, prestige, and orders to keep its factories running at full capacity.
The M1 Pro and M1 Max demonstrate the company's increasing power as a chip designer. Both are designed for more capable models, the 14-inch and 16-inch Pros, geared for video editors, programmers, and others with intense computing needs.
The first wave of MacBook Pro (2021) reviews are starting to come through, and based on early performance tests, the new M1 Pro and Max chips appear to be pushing Apple’s new Pro laptops into an altogether different league that's way ahead of what rival Intel and AMD machines can achieve.
Tune in to the episode to know more about the face-off, and which one emerges out as the ultimate winner. Do not forget to notice Intel's future plans of survival and not becoming the next Blackberry.

With Apple event and the exciting M1 lineup this year, it will be exciting to dive into the wider ecosystem of innovative apps for musicians available on the App Store.
One of my own favorites is PlayScore, which is a sheet music scanning app that practically works like magic: simply point your smartphone or tablet camera at a page of music, take a photo, and just a couple of seconds later you can hear it played back. You can also send MIDI and, perhaps most usefully, MusicXML to other apps on your device. Get to know more about the app from the creator, Mr. Anthony Wilkes himself.

Ever wondered why so many Apple products start with the letter "i"? Well, it's actually quite simple. When you think of Apple, the first thing that might come to mind is the iPhone, or maybe the iPod, or even the iMac. You can immediately recognize many products are Apple products because of the lowercase “i.”
But did you notice that Apple stopped using the “i” for most of its new devices?
Whether it’s the HomePod, Apple Watch, AirPods, or AirTags, there’s no “i” anymore. But there are a few important reasons behind this decision.
It’s not just simple rebranding, there are many other legal and even economic issues causing the change.

Apple is one of the leaders in innovation, design, product strategy, and execution. Apple sure prides itself on creating better experiences, we forget what actually goes into that.
When Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer, he wanted to change the world. It wouldn’t be until years later when that dream came true for the masses. But what made Apple so popular over all this time?
Was it innovative technology? The challenging ideas? Simple designs? Yes. To them all. That’s where the design process comes in. Apple brought something new to the table with every product release, even if we label it as future-retro.
Tune in to the latest episode of the iGeeksBlog Show, where we walk you through Apple's idea of designs and how will it sustain the future.
