She then moved to Bon Air Juvenile Correctional Center before working at Bont. Sister Alberta believes that working at Flan was the best experience because she was able to establish the foundation as one of the first officers there. She also grew up in the Baptist Church and has fond memories of revivals, where everyone would come together to worship and fellowship. However, at the time of her work as a corrections officer, Sister Alberta was not living for God and was not implementing ministry or prayer in her life.
